SARAH JEFFREYS

Sarah has been working with the healthcare team at Clarington Chiropractic since 2003. Prior to that, Sarah received her diploma from Sir Sanford Fleming in Peterborough. During that time Sarah volunteered for two semesters at the Fleming Massage Therapy & Native Health Center,(Niijkiwendidaa Anishnaabe Kwewag). Sarah treated women who were under a great deal of stress, anxiety and depression, giving Sarah the experience and confidence she shows today.  Sarah offers a variety of soft tissue techniques to treat conditions like whiplash, arthritis, headaches, pregnancy & relaxation massage.

SCOTT BURKE RMT

Scott graduated from one of Canada’s top massage schools, Sutherland-Chan, specializing in sports related injuries. Having represented Canada internationally in track & field, Scott is prepared to understand the direct therapy needs of our athletes/clients. Scott’s skills range from Swedish/deep tissue massage to trigger point therapy & joint mobilizations.  He instructs his clients regarding proper bio mechanics, utilizing remedial exercises to improve overall posture & athletic performance

MONICA RUEGSEGGER

Monica received her Ontario College Advanced Diploma from Sir Sanford Fleming College in Peterborough. During her three years at Fleming she gained experience working with athletes, prenatal women and the general public. Monica has a passion for fitness and health. She is a certified personal trainer with extensive knowledge of fitness & exercise.

With each client  Monica strives to rehabilitate, ease injuries and to provide a feeling of well being.

LAURA SUESS

Laura obtained her Reflexology Certificate from the Ontario College of Reflexology and is registered with the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario. Laura also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University and a diploma in Food & Drug technology from Durham College.

Some of Laura’s other interest in complementary health care include Reiki, Iridology & Ear Candling.

ANDREA DIXON B.Sc.,RMT

Andrea Dixon was born and raised in Oshawa. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph and graduated as a massage therapist from The Kawartha Centre for Integrated Health Education. She has been practicing Massage Therapy in the Durham Region since 2001.    Andrea uses a wide variety of soft tissue manipulation techniques. She believes that educating clients about their condition and related anatomy, as well as providing postural  re-training and core strengthening are important components of her complete client care program. Andrea offers Low Intensity Laser Therapy treatments. She added this modality to her practice in 2007. With over ten years experience, Andrea draws clients of all ages and activity levels. She loves helping each person feel that their body is functioning optimally.
