  • Arrive 5 minutes before your appointment to be screened at the front door.
  • Ministry of Health screening questionnaire will be reviewed each time you visit.
  • Masks or face covering must be worn. If you don't have one, a mask can be purchased in the office.
  • Wash or sanitize your hands immediately upon entering the clinic and after you leave.
  • Please ensure proper physical distancing of 2-metres in the office.
  • Please come to your appointment alone, unless a guardian is required.
  • If you are having a massage, you will be exiting through the back door.

Dr. James Hadden

Dr. Hadden obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo, with a five year Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology.

James studied an additional four years at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where he graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1995.

James was awarded the Cum Laude Academic Award, as well as, the Clinic Internship Honours and Athlete of the Year Award upon graduation.

Dr. Hadden helped conduct research studies in orthopedics at Sunnybrook Hospital between 1992-1994.

Dr. Janine Taylor

Dr. Janine Taylor grew up in the Durham region. She is thrilled to practice in her own community.

Dr. Taylor attended Queen's University where she obtained her BSc degree in Life Sciences. After graduation she obtained her Chiropractic Degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (2004). In 2005 Dr. Taylor obtained post-graduate training in contemporary medical acupuncture at McMaster University.

Dr. Taylor is involved with multiple professional associations including being an examiner for the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board, and a Peer Assessor and committee member with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.

In her spare time Janine enjoys running, biking and sewing. She is proud to lead a local 'Boomerang Bag' group which up-cycles fabric into tote bags as a sustainable alternative to plastic bags. Together with her husband and kids, she enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Scott Burke

Scott Burke is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Toronto's Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic program in 2007.

Scott is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the Registered Massage Therapists of Ontario.

He prides himself in providing the best care possible to support the specialized needs of his clients.

Andrea Dixon

Andrea Dixon completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph in 1998. She has been a member of The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2000.

In addition to these qualifications, Andrea became certified in Low Intensity Laser Therapy in 2006.

Using massage therapy in conjunction with laser therapy has broadened the scope of her practice. She enjoys the challenge of difficult to treat pathologies and injuries. In 2013 Andrea was awarded 'Laser Clinician of The Year' at the 2013 international laser

In her free time, Andrea is an outdoor enthusiast who is passionate about her horses and dogs. She enjoys skiing and cycling with her family and is currently working with her husband and son to create a sustainable agriculture environment at their hobby farm.

Michael Albertini

Graston Technique Specialist

Michael is a Registered Massage Therapist at Clarington Chiropractic Clinic, who graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Trillium College in 2017 and is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. (CMTO).

This program provided Michael with over 250 hours of hands-on training at athletic events, corporate offices and fundraisers. He has furthered his knowledge by adding Graston Therapy to broaden his massage therapy practice. Graston Technique helps with the realignment of muscle fibres along with releasing fasciae abnormalities, adhesions 'knots' and range of motion restrictions. Michael has been using Graston Technique to help his patients who suffer from migraines.

Michael is an active and long-time member of the Courtice community and has many interests including his previous certification in journalism and photography. Michael loves outdoor hikes with his partner and is avidly involved with meditation and yoga practice. Michael looks forward to seeing you soon!

Heather Durie

Heather is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College in 2010, and is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

Heather incorporates a broad range of massage techniques and has extensive experience in treating a wide variety of conditions and is dedicated to helping her clients and promoting health and wellness in our clinical setting.

Originally from the London area, Heather has been in the Durham region for seven years and loves being part of the healthcare team at Clarington Chiropractic.

She enjoys the outdoors, plays hockey and soccer in her free time and loves spending time with friends and family. Heather looks forward to meeting you at the clinic!

Caitlyn Lew

Caitlyn is a Registered Massage Therapist who completed the Massage Therapy program at Centennial College, and is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

She enjoys working with a diverse clientele and incorporates a variety of techniques so that every treatment is as individualized as the needs of each client. She believes that long-term results are best achieved through education and having her clients be involved in the treatment plan. Caitlyn is committed to providing the best care possible to her clients, which includes expanding her massage therapy education.

In her spare time, Caitlyn enjoys travelling and socially rehabilitating her rescue dog from the Bahamas.

Heather Johnstone

Heather has over 2,200 training hours and is a graduate of Trillium College. She has been a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2016.

She has a love for health and wellness and helping others and these two passions led her to become an RMT. Through massage therapy, she aims to assist clients to reduce pain and related symptoms, increase mobility and decrease stress to enhance the quality of their lives.

She is experienced in providing Swedish massage techniques, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, pre- and post-natal as well as treatments with a more relaxation focus.

Heather has a very caring, professional presence. Whatever your individual needs are, she will tailor your treatments to meet your specific health and wellness goals.

Laura Suess

Registered Reflexology Practitioner

Laura obtained her undergraduate arts degree at Queen's University. After enjoying the benefits of reflexology, she decided to study to become a fully qualified Registered Reflexology Practitioner, training at the Ontario College of Reflexology (2003).

As a Reflexologist, Laura treats many types of ailments with compassion and an understanding of clients' needs. It is this energy and her philosophy of total health care, including mind, body and spirit from which her clients can benefit.
