Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a therapeutic method of treatment from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in which fine, solid needles are inserted at specific points in the body.

Acupuncture is a safe therapeutic intervention, with a time-tested record of millions of treatments, with minimal side effects.

Acupuncture works by increasing localized blood flow, and stimulating the central nervous system. This in turn can help manage pain, aid in recovery, and allow for an overall sense of physical and emotional well-being.

Spinal Decompression

Spinal Decompression Therapy is a highly successful, non-surgical treatment that relieves pressure on the spinal nerves caused by 'Bulging', Herniated, Degenerative or Ruptured Discs– leading to neck and low back discomfort.

Spinal Decompression is used to treat the following conditions:

Sciatica
Herniated Disc
Degenerative/Rupture Disc
Chronic/acute Neck Pain
Chronic/acute Low Back Pain
Bulging Disc

LOW-INTENSITY LASER THERAPY (LILT)

Low level laser therapy uses the energy of light to optimize the natural healing process of the body.

Human cells absorb light emitted from super luminous and laser diodes (LEDs). This light energy is a particle known as a photon. Photons are absorbed by micro-molecules in the cell and are then converted to biochemical energy (ATP). This restores normal cell function, allowing for growth and repair.

The BioFlex LILT system penetrates deeply into the tissues in need of repair without affecting normal cells. Most LILT treatments are about 30 minutes in length and are pain free

Foot Orthotics

Prescription orthotics are biomechanical appliances that are custom molded to correct your specific foot imbalances.

Orthotics work on the feet in the same way that braces work on the teeth, by gently exerting consistent pressure to bring the foot muscles, ligaments and bones back into proper alignment.

Our orthotics are made of custom molded, flexible, carbon—fibre reinforced thermoplastic.

The 'GaitScan' system is a computerized diagnostic imaging system that records timing sequences as you walk and stand on a pressure plate. T
his allows us to have a clear picture of your foot mechanics to determine whether you would benefit from wearing custom made foot orthotics.

A detailed biomechanical report and prescription for orthotics will be provided to you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
